Mark Myers
Mark Myers has been practicing mental health and substance abuse counseling for over 30 years. He is an Illinois Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Mark’s work experience offers him a unique perspective. The settings he has worked in include Inpatient Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Intensive Outpatient for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Aftercare for Substance Abuse, Community Youth Center, Veterans Administration Hospital, and currently in Private Practice. He has been instructing College Substance Abuse and Mental Health courses for ten years. Mark and his wife Janet have published a book and are working on their second one. Mark provides counseling to individuals, couples, children, and adolescents for a variety of areas, including drug and alcohol abuse, parenting issues, marital concerns, depression, anxiety, and anger management. He presents workshops and consultations to mental health professionals and the community.
